Clemens Briels calls his style Antipodism. Drawing from unknown sources, he transforms images with a keen sense of contrast into bold, unconventional yet always approachable artworks. His work is colourful, distinctly influenced by Latin America, and dismisses academic rules of perspective. Briels is a sculptor, painter, furniture designer and glass sculptor. Yet his signature remains his cheerful and optimistic outlook on life. His successful exhibitions have followed one another rapidly across Europe, North America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Singapore and even in a museum exhibition in Shanghai. Internationally, Clemens Briels has received special recognition:
